New Faculty
Welcome to Loyola!
We’re so glad you’re here. À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ is excited to welcome you to our academic community. This site serves as your central guide for getting started—whether you're joining us as tenure-track, teaching, or clinical faculty.
Your onboarding experience begins with New Faculty Orientation and continues with access to the New Faculty Academy, semi-annual teaching enhancement workshops, and a range of campus resources to support your success.
Faculty are at the heart of Loyola’s academic mission, and the Office of Academic Affairs is here to support your transition—to the classroom, the university, and to life in Baltimore. Unless otherwise noted, the resources on this page are relevant to all new full-time faculty. Your department will provide guidance on policies and practices specific to your area, with support from your Chair and administrative staff.
