Loyola ranked No. 6 regionally by U.S. News & World Report
Ŕ¶Ý®ĘÓƵ tied for No. 6 among the “” in U.S. News & World Report’s 2027 “” rankings, moving up one spot since last year. The publication has ranked Loyola in the top 10 for more than a decade.
Loyola also tied for No. 2 in “Undergraduate Teaching” in the North Region. The ranking recognizes the commitment and dedication to high-quality undergraduate teaching by Loyola’s faculty and administrators.
“Loyola’s standing among the region’s top universities reflects the strength of our academic programs, the excellence of our faculty, and a Jesuit liberal arts education that challenges students to pursue knowledge with rigor and purpose,” said Terrence M. Sawyer, J.D., president of Loyola. “We are proud to be recognized for delivering an educational experience that prepares graduates for lifelong success—and significance.”
In addition, U.S. News & World Report ranked Loyola:

To calculate the rankings, U.S. News & World Report analyzed more than 1,700 colleges and universities on up to 17 measures of academic quality with an emphasis on graduate outcomes and social mobility.
