International Conference on Urban Education
The is hosted biannually by the Urban Education Collaborative, an urban education research center at The University of North Carolina (UNC) at Charlotte working to improve K-12 urban education and quality of life through community partnership. This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淪peaking Truth to Power: Sustaining Excellence in Urban Realities.鈥 The CRE Director Dr. Qi Shi, with two faculty fellows Dr. Stephanie Flores-Koulish and Dr. Leah Saal, and Dr. Lisa Schoenbrodt, professor of Speech Language Pathology will present their findings from three different research projects in a panel that centers around the theme 鈥渆quity and social justice in education鈥 on Nov. 3, 2022 (11:20am-12:35pm) in Cancun, Mexico.
